Scott Downes

Scott Downes possesses extensive experience in the field of circuit engineering within Formula 1 since January 2006, currently serving as Head Of Circuit Engineering after holding roles as Circuit Engineering Manager and TV Signage Producer. Responsibilities include managing a team of civil engineers for technical broadcast infrastructure, planning layouts for garages and media facilities, and ensuring commercial sponsors receive their contractual exposure. Previous positions involved direct coordination with circuits and promoters for broadcast logistics, installation of communication systems, and overseeing race operations technicians. Scott also has a background in garden design and continues education at The Open University.
