Ankit Bende

PHD Researcher at Research Center Julich

Ankit Bende is a PhD researcher at Forschungszentrum Jülich since September 2022, focusing on the exploration and customization of electronic materials and devices, particularly in CMOS-compatible 1T-1R memristive arrays for analog computing. Previously, Ankit held the position of Senior Scientist at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay for a short duration in mid-2022, developing PCM/OTP memories for in-memory computing applications. Between 2019 and 2022, Ankit served as a Research Scientist at the same institution, leading process integration for memory devices and engaging in the design and fabrication of Flash MOSFETs. Ankit's earlier role as a researcher at NcflexE, IIT Kanpur involved designing IGZO-based flexible transistors, while a junior research fellowship at DRDO included work on broadband microstrip patch antennas for military applications. Ankit holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University, an M.Tech. in Materials Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, and a B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
