Dr. Andreas Lintermann

Coordinator Of The European Coe Raise at Research Center Julich

Dr. Andreas Lintermann serves as the Coordinator of the European Center of Excellence in Exascale Computing "Research on AI- and Simulation-Based Engineering at Exascale" (CoE RAISE) at Forschungszentrum Jülich since November 2015. Dr. Lintermann leads the Simulation Laboratory "Highly Scalable Fluids & Solids Engineering" within the Jülich Aachen Research Alliance Center for Simulation and Data Science (JARA-CSD) and holds the position of Industry Relations Manager at RIKEN Advanced Institute for Computational Science while also serving as a Visiting Scientist. Prior experience includes roles as Group Lead and PostDoc at RWTH Aachen University focused on computational fluid dynamics and human resource management, as well as research activities during PhD studies in this field. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Computational Fluid Dynamics and a Diploma in Computer Science, both obtained from RWTH Aachen University.
