Kourosh Malek is an accomplished professional in the fields of artificial intelligence and clean energy, currently serving as the Head of Division for Artificial Intelligence and SDL-EM at Forschungszentrum Jülich since 2021, while also overseeing the German-Canadian Materials Acceleration Centre as Program Manager. As Managing Director of ViMi Labs, Kourosh focuses on developing practical AI systems to enhance research and development in the clean energy sector. Kourosh has previously held pivotal roles such as Director at Blue A.I., where emphasis was placed on data-driven solutions for complex problems within clean energy and supply chain management. Additional experience includes significant contributions as Program Technical Lead at NRC-EME and as an Adjunct Professor at Simon Fraser University. Kourosh's educational background encompasses an MBA in Management of Technology from Simon Fraser University and foundational studies at Delft University of Technology and Sharif University of Technology.
