Nils Hoffmann is an experienced professional in the fields of bioinformatics and computational lipidomics. Currently serving as an External Lecturer at Universität Wien since October 2022, Nils also holds the position of Cloud and Interoperability Platform Coordinator at Forschungszentrum Jülich since January 2022. Previously, Nils has been involved with the Founders Foundation as a member of the Startup School in late 2021 and served as the Cloud and Interoperability Platform Coordinator at Bielefeld University earlier that year. Notably, Nils has a substantial background at the Leibniz-Institut für Analytische Wissenschaften – ISAS – e.V., contributing as a Deputy Project Coordinator for the “Lipidomics Informatics for Life Sciences” project and as a Postdoctoral Researcher in bioinformatics for lipidomics. Nils' career commenced with roles at Empolis Information Management GmbH and a series of positions at the University of Bielefeld while pursuing doctoral studies in bioinformatics, culminating in a Dr. rer. nat. degree in 2014.
