Alon Ohev-Zion

Alon Ohev-Zion, PhD, is an experienced professional in the field of robotics and engineering, currently serving as a System Engineer and System V&V Engineer at ForSight Robotics since January 2024, where responsibilities include designing and performing Verification and Validation System-level tests. Prior to this role, Alon held various positions at XACT Robotics from November 2013 to August 2023, including Advanced Technology Leader in R&D and Mechanical Analytic & Control Engineer, focusing on machine design, real-time control development, safety and EMC testing, and system integration. Alon also contributed to academia as a MSc to Ph.D. student and teaching assistant at Ben Gurion University from 2008 to March 2014, where involvement included establishing a robotics laboratory and serving as chief instructor. Early technical experience includes serving as an Electronics Technician for the Israeli Air Force from 1999 to 2001. Alon Ohev-Zion earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev between 2008 and 2014.
