Forsyth School
Lia Acri, M. Ed. is an experienced educator currently serving as a Grade 3 Teacher at Forsyth School since June 2023 and at Gesu Catholic School since August 2021. In these roles, Lia facilitates Math, Literacy, Science, Social Studies, and Religious Studies for a total of 45 students across two years, focusing on creating a culture of mutual respect and implementing Responsive Classroom practices. Prior experience includes working as a Teaching Fellow with the Alliance for Catholic Education, where Lia honed teaching skills for under-resourced schools, and held various internships at the University of Notre Dame, which involved recruiting and administrative tasks. Lia holds a Master of Education from the University of Notre Dame and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Theology from the same institution.
