Tierney Tinnin currently serves as the FWISD Chief of Communications and Community Partnerships at Fort Worth ISD since May 2025. Prior to this role, Tierney held the position of Chief of Marketing & Communications at Cedar Hill ISD from April 2019 to May 2025, and Executive Director of Communications at Irving Independent School District from July 2017 to April 2019. Experience also includes serving as Deputy Director of Communications, Policy & Performance Management at the Oklahoma Office of Juvenile Affairs, and Senior Communications & Community Relations Officer at Oklahoma City Public Schools. Tierney's earlier career in television includes roles as Morning Anchor at KOCO-TV 5, Weekend Anchor/Reporter at KXXV-TV, and One Man Band Reporter/Fill-In Anchor at KAVU-TV. Tierney earned a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from Langston University and graduated from Plano East Senior High School.
