Jacob Olson has worked in a variety of roles since 2013. Jacob began their career as a Sales Representative for Vivint in 2013. In 2016, they held two internships, one as an Engineering Intern for Autoliv and the other as a Research Assistant for BYU RaD lab. In 2017, they worked as an Engineering Intern for Lockheed Martin and a Research Assistant for BYU MAGICC Lab. Currently, they are a Senior Controls Engineer for Fortem Technologies, a position they have held since 2019.
Jacob Olson obtained their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Brigham Young University in 2017. Jacob then proceeded to obtain their Masters of Mechanical Engineering with a focus in Robotics and Controls of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles from the same institution in 2019.
