Mark Fortier

Mark Fortier has over 30 years of experience in the field of public relations and communications. Mark founded and currently serves as the President of Fortier Public Relations, LLC (Fortier PR) since 2007. Before that, they worked at Goldberg McDuffie Communications for almost 9 years, starting as the Director of Publicity and eventually becoming a Partner and Vice President. Prior to that, Mark worked as a Publicity Manager at Columbia University Press for four years and as a Publicist at Penguin for two years. Mark also served as the Publicity/Marketing Director at George Braziller, Inc. for one year.

Mark Fortier earned a BA in English from Wesleyan University in 1991. In 2006-2007, they studied Writing and Public Speaking at New York University. Additionally, in 1989, they briefly studied English at the University of London.
