Methlal Pallewatta

Methlal (Mano) Pallewatta is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in embedded software development, primarily in the telecommunications and networking industries. Currently serving as a Principal Embedded Software Development Engineer at Fortinet since November 2019, Methlal has held various senior roles at Broadcom from February 2008 to March 2019, including Senior Principal Software Engineer and Principal Software Engineer. Previous experience includes positions at Motorola as a Senior Staff Software Engineer and at Symbol Technologies as a Software Engineer. Methlal began a career with Nortel as a Staff Software Engineer and has also worked as a Laboratory Supervisor and Research Associate at the Asian Institute of Technology. Methlal holds a Master of Engineering degree in Computer Science from the Asian Institute of Technology, along with early education at Royal College.
