Sarah Hamaker

Sarah Hamaker is an accomplished communications leader with extensive experience in the utility and clean energy sectors. Currently serving as the Senior Communications Manager at Fortis Construction, Inc. since October 2024, Sarah previously held the position of Corporate Communications Manager at Portland General Electric, where responsibilities included leading a cross-functional team to communicate insights about the clean energy transition. Earlier roles included Principal Communications Strategist focused on executive communications and thought leadership and an Account Director at WE Communications, managing key client accounts such as Intel and Microsoft. Sarah's career also spans positions in corporate communications, journalism, and social media management, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Communications from Northeastern University.
