Andrew Porohowski

Andrew Porohowski has extensive experience in geographic information systems, currently serving as a Senior GIS Systems Analyst at FortisAlberta since March 2012. In this role, Andrew is responsible for the analysis, design, configuration, development, documentation, testing, and deployment of system defect corrections and enhancements related to Geographical Information Systems. Previously, Andrew worked as a GIS Systems Analyst, focusing on the implementation and testing of GIS and AMFM system enhancements. Andrew's earlier career includes positions as a Software Developer and Co-op Developer at Gemini Positioning Systems, where responsibilities also involved system design, implementation, and testing. Andrew holds a Diploma in Computer Technology from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology and multiple certificates in GIS and related technologies from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology.
