James Lee

James Lee is an Engineer in Training at FortisAlberta since June 2023, with a focus on areas such as Capital Delivery, Power Quality, DER Planning, and Load Planning. Prior experience includes an Electric Distribution Engineering Internship at the City of Medicine Hat, where James designed electric distribution for commercial projects, and a Facility Electrical Engineering Internship at ConocoPhillips, where James developed electrical scopes for over 15 projects and produced numerous detailed electrical drawings. James also served as a Researcher at the National Research Council Canada, managing a project on electrochemical sensors. Earlier roles include leadership positions as a Program Attendant and Snowboard Instructor, emphasizing skills in communication, conflict resolution, and organization. James earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Alberta in April 2023.
