Kent Scott

Kent Scott, P.Eng. is a seasoned electrical engineering professional with extensive experience in customer load planning and electrical consulting. Currently serving as Customer Load Planning Engineer at FortisAlberta since April 2024, Kent previously held the role of Electrical Engineer at DMD & Associates Electrical Consultants Ltd. from April 2014 to April 2024. Prior to that, Kent worked as an Electrical Technologist at Solaris MCI from February 2007 to April 2014 and as an Electrical Co-ordinator at Kiewit from April 2006 to February 2007. Kent holds a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the British Columbia Institute of Technology, obtained between 2011 and 2015, as well as an Electrical Engineering Technology Diploma from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, completed from 2005 to 2007.
