Merlin MacNaughton

Merlin MacNaughton is a retired professional with extensive experience in the electrical utility industry, currently holding the title of Retired since July 2018. Prior to retirement, Merlin MacNaughton served as Stakeholder Relations Manager in Customer Relations at FortisAlberta from February 2007, managing relationships with municipal leaders and addressing utility issues in Southern Alberta. Earlier experience includes serving as Area Supervisor of Operations and Construction at Utilitcorp/Aquila from January 1999 to May 2004, where Merlin MacNaughton oversaw field staff engaged in electrical distribution system operations, and as a Lineman/Supervisor at TransAlta Utilities from May 1976 to January 1999, focusing on the operation, maintenance, and construction of electrical systems. Education includes studies at Trinity Western College from 1974 to 1976 and completion of high school at Okotoks High School.
