Daniel Mendez is a Professor in Software Engineering and Associate Professor at Blekinge Tekniska Högskola, and also serves as a Senior Researcher at Fortiss since September 2019. Previously, Daniel held the position of Senior Research Fellow at the Technical University of Munich from September 2007 to September 2019, and was the Director of research groups at Zentrum Digitalisierung.Bayern from January 2016 to May 2019. Daniel's academic qualifications include a Habilitation in Informatik and a Dr. rer. nat. in Computer Science, both from the Technical University of Munich, and a Dipl. Inf. Univ. in Computer Science with a focus on Cognitive Neuroscience from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.
