Vijay Akella

Vijay Akella is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in operations and continuous improvement across various industries. Currently serving as Director - FBSO Lean at Fortive since December 2024, Vijay previously held the role of Director of Continuous Improvement at Tektronix and Director of Operations at Fluke Corporation. Vijay's career began at Qualitrol, progressing from Engineering Intern to Global Quality Manager, encompassing over a decade of leadership in operations and quality management. Vijay also contributed as Manager of the Green Anode Plant at Bharat Aluminium Company Limited and as a Research Fellow at the Indian Institute of Chemical Technology. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Operations Management from the Rochester Institute of Technology and a B-Tech in Chemical Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University.
