Roman Starsky has a diverse range of work experience in the finance and investment industry. Roman started their career as a Private Equity Analyst at Fiduciary Network, where they constructed financial models and conducted due diligence on acquisition targets. Roman then moved on to ALM First Financial Advisors, where they worked as an Analyst, managing fixed income portfolios and developing balance sheet strategies. Roman later joined The Transition Companies as an Associate, preparing valuation reports and financial models for companies going to market. Most recently, they worked at Fortress Investment Group, starting as an Analyst before being promoted to Associate and then Vice President. In their role at Fortress, Roman underwrote and closed multiple CRE debt transactions, helped structure fundraising, and managed due diligence for various investment opportunities.
Roman Starsky completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Finance at The University of Texas at Dallas from 2005 to 2009. Roman later pursued a Masters degree in Accounting and Information Systems at the same university in 2009. Prior to their university education, Roman attended Richardson High School from 2001 to 2005.

Fortress Investment Group LLC (Fortress) is an investment management firm. The Company operates through segments, including private equity funds, permanent capital vehicles, credit hedge funds, credit PE funds, liquid hedge funds and Logan Circle. Its business is to sponsor the formation of, and provide investment management services for, various investment funds, permanent capital vehicles and related managed accounts (the Fortress Funds). Fortress's sources of income from the Fortress Funds are management fees, incentive income and investment income on its investments in the funds. As of December 31, 2016, the Company's private equity business manages approximately $13.5 billion of assets under management (AUM); credit funds business manages approximately $18.1 billion of AUM; liquid hedge funds business manages over $4.6 billion of AUM, and Logan Circle business manages approximately $33.4 billion of AUM.
