J. Michael Edison

Mike Edison founded Fortrex Technologies in 1997. He designed, prototyped, and patented Fortrex’s signature vendor risk management solution, VendorPoint.

Prior to forming Fortrex, Mr. Edison held several positions during his tenure with Pioneer Technologies. He served as Corporate Director of Value Added Services, where he was responsible for Pioneer’s entire systems integration and component kitting operations, which combined, represented over $50 Million in revenue.

Before his time at Pioneer, Mr. Edison was Sr. Scientific Programmer for Walt Disney World’s EPCOT Center, where he designed, managed, implemented, and maintained several systems within the EPCOT complex.

As a key figure in vendor risk management to the financial services community, Mr. Edison speaks frequently at financial institution seminars, ABA conferences, and during phone briefings. He also publishes whitepapers on the subject of vendor risk management.
