David Kopecky

David Kopecky is a seasoned IT security professional with extensive experience in managing vulnerabilities and enhancing security awareness. Currently serving as the Group Senior IT Security Engineer at FEG since November 2022, David is responsible for coordinating penetration tests and overseeing SOC activities. Prior to this, David held the position of CE IT Security Manager at Tesco Stores CR, a.s., where responsibilities included IT and information security across multiple countries, identity and access management, and compliance audits. David's background also includes a role as a Cyber Security Architect at UPC Czech Republic, implementing security regulations and handling security incidents. Earlier experience at the Czech Telecommunication Office involved regulatory analysis and legal support. David holds an LL.M. in Business Law from EDU Effective Business School and multiple degrees in Security and Legal Studies from the Police Academy of the Czech Republic and Palacký University in Olomouc.
