Akhilesh Lahe is a Senior Engineer in Industrial Development at FORVIA since August 2021, focusing on vehicle program launches, plant layout optimization, and process planning. Prior to this, Akhilesh served as Group Manufacturing Lead at General Motors, contributing to industrial engineering projects and gaining extensive shop floor experience in vehicle manufacturing processes. As a Graduate Engineering Trainee at TATA AutoComp Systems Ltd, responsibilities included plant layout design and process documentation. Additionally, Akhilesh held a position on the Board of Directors as Treasurer for the Institution of Mechanical Engineers at AISSMS College of Engineering, where this role was pioneering for the student chapter. Earlier experiences include roles as an Engineering Intern at IndiTech Valves Pvt Ltd and as a Design and Development Engineer with Resonance Racing, participating in Formula Bharat competitions. Akhilesh holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from AISSMS College of Engineering, Pune.
