Civil Engineering Intern - Structural (summer 2025)

Our Des Moines office is growing and looking for a driven and motivated Structural Civil Engineering Intern to join our team for the Summer of 2025. Primary Responsibilities:

• Learn basic principles of structural engineering
• Assist with project research, field work, and preliminary design calculations and analysis
• Support preparation of final design plans, special provisions, and cost estimates
• Prepare project construction documents in support of civil engineering projects
• Complete training on assigned tasks

Required Qualifications:

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited program

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous Civil Engineering experience through an internship or co-op
• Experience with MicroStation Open Roads Designer (ORD) or AutoCAD Civil3D experience
