Sebastian Thalanany is a highly experienced technical manager in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as the Technical Manager - Construction at Fotowatio Renewable Ventures (FRV) since June 2023, where responsibilities include managing technical aspects of projects during the construction and commissioning phases. Previous roles include Senior PV & Development Engineer at EQUANS ANZ, overseeing the development engineering and design of a 5MW solar farm, and Engineering Lead at Todae Solar, where technical leadership was provided for multiple solar projects. Sebastian has a solid foundation in solar system design, engineering management, and client relationships, supported by an academic background with an MSc in Sustainable Energy Futures from Imperial College London and a BEng in Biochemical Engineering from UCL.
