Foundation Fighting Blindness
Andrea Harper, Ed.D., currently serves as the Chapter Engagement Manager for the Midwest Region at the Foundation Fighting Blindness, where responsibilities include managing volunteer relationships, outreach to community organizations, and delivering scientific presentations. Previous experience includes roles in volunteer coordination at the Missouri Botanical Garden, where Andrea successfully managed over 280 volunteers and led initiatives for database transitions and virtual platforms. Additional roles span across various organizations, focusing on sustainability, community outreach, and education. Andrea holds a Doctor of Education in Heritage Leadership with an emphasis on sustainability and social justice from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis and a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication Studies from Webster University.
