Julian Jungmann

Julian Jungmann is a Senior Manager in Clinical Bioinformatics at Foundation Medicine, a position held since April 2021, having previously served as Manager in the same department. Prior experience includes a postdoctoral role and PhD research at DKFZ German Cancer Research Center from February 2014 to February 2021, focusing on epigenetics, next-generation sequencing, statistical analyses, and high-performance computing. Earlier experience includes serving as a Research Assistant at Hertie Institute for Clinical Brain Research, where data analysis was conducted for cognitive neuroscience projects, and as an Assistant at computer.pcv, responsible for installation and maintenance of computer systems. Julian obtained a PhD in Bioinformatics from Heidelberg University, a Master's degree from the University of Tübingen, and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from the same institution.
