Lauren M. Thorpe

Lauren M. Thorpe is an accomplished scientific professional with extensive experience in oncology and biomedical informatics. Currently serving as Associate Director of Translational Oncology & Clinical Reporting at Foundation Medicine since June 2015, Lauren has held various progressively responsible roles within the organization, including Principal Scientist and Senior Scientist II. Prior to this, Lauren contributed as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and completed a PhD in Virology at Harvard University, where research focused on the tumor suppressive role of PI3K regulatory isoform p85α in breast cancer. Educational background also includes a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Carnegie Mellon University. Lauren's expertise spans teaching, research, and translational applications in cancer biology.
