Edward Bishop

Edward Bishop currently serves as the Group Vice President of R&D at Proofpoint, following a tenure as Co-founder and CTO of Tessian, which was acquired by Proofpoint. With experience in investment roles at Sequoia Capital and as a member of Founders Pledge, Bishop actively invests in early-stage companies and contributes to social causes through philanthropic commitments. Previous positions include an Investment Banking Executive at The Valence Group and various roles at RBS Global Banking & Markets. Edward holds an MSc (Hons) Distinction in Applicable Mathematics from The London School of Economics and Political Science and an MEng (Hons) First Class in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College London.
