Chief Partnerships Officer at FourthRev

Mark Lester is the Chief Partnerships Officer at FourthRev, a position they have held since August 2020. Prior to that, they were the Co-Chief Executive Officer (Interim) at Eden Careers from December 2019 to August 2020. Before that, they were the Managing Director, Universities & Educational Partnerships at FutureLearn from December 2012 to December 2019.

Lester has been instrumental in securing funding for edtech ventures, most notably securing £50M for FutureLearn from Seek, a publicly quoted Australian careers company. Mark has also been a major contributor to the establishment of the European Microcredential Framework across all European MOOC platforms, a common standard for microcredentials as the basis for a new international credential.

Lester's experience in developing partnerships with universities and educational institutions has led to him playing a key role in FourthRev's mission to transform how millions of people manage and develop their careers.

Mark Lester completed a Bachelor's degree in International Mark'story at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Mark then went on to complete an MSc in Russian and Post-Soviet Studies at LSE.
