Rich Goldner has extensive work experience in the broadcasting industry. Rich began their career at WOR 710 Talk Radio in 1986 as a Desk Assistant. Rich then moved to WCBS-AM Radio in 1987, where they held the same position. In 1988, Goldner joined CBS This Morning as a Broadcast Associate. In 1991, they joined KTLA and took on various roles such as Writer, Assignment Editor, Producer, Exec Producer, and eventually News Director. After working at KTLA for 17 years, Goldner joined FOX 5 San Diego (KSWB-TV) as a News Director in 2008. Currently, they are employed by KUSI Television as the News Director, starting in 2023.
Rich Goldner attended Forest Hills High School, graduating in the year 1983. Subsequently, they pursued a degree in Communication and Media Studies at C.W. Post Long Island University from 1983 to 1985. Following this, Rich attended Syracuse University from 1985 to 1987, specializing in TRF Management.
