Hebert A. Castillo obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú in 2001. Hebert A. then completed a Postgrade on Wireless Telecomunications System from Instituto Nacional de Investigación y Capacitación de Telecomunicaciones (INICTEL-UNI) from 2001 to 2002. Hebert A. then attended Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola from 2007 to 2008 for CCNP, Cisco Academy, and from 2003 to 2004 for CCNA, Cisco Academy. Hebert A. Castillo then obtained an MBA in Master in Strategic Business Administration from CENTRUM PUCP from 2011 to 2013. Hebert A. also holds additional certifications, including Certified Wireless Specialist and Certified Wireless Technician from CWNP (obtained in May 2020) and CCNA from Cisco.
