Abelardo Oropeza Palacios has held various roles in the corporate world since 2011. Abelardo began their career as a Junior Maintenance Engineer at Smurfit Kappa, where they were responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance plans for the Electrical Control and Power Department. Abelardo then moved on to become a Controlling Trainee, where they were responsible for financial and operational results analysis and consolidation from Mills and Material Resources Division. After that, they became an Operations Superintended for the Raw Material Division in Venezuela, responsible for purchasing recycled material for the supply of raw material. In 2017, they joined Recicladora Pastora 5 C.A. as a Senior Operations Coordinator, where they were responsible for studying market costs and developing new operations and expansion of the market in the country. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Fracttal as an Account Executive, where they are responsible for demonstrating to clients the immense value that the use of new technologies adds to their maintenance execution.
Abelardo Oropeza Palacios has a background in business management and engineering. Abelardo completed a Business Foundation Specialization at The Wharton School in 2022, a Finance for Non Financial at IESA in 2015, and an Ingeniería at Universidad Fermín Toro between 2004 and 2010. Abelardo has also obtained five certifications from the University of Pennsylvania Coursera, including Introduction to Corporate Finance, Introduction to Financial Accounting, Managing Social and Human Capital, Introduction to Marketing, and Introduction to Operations Management.
