Alice Liou Fitzpatrick is an experienced professional with a background in molecular, cellular, and integrative physiology. Currently the Director of Gene Therapy at Fractyl Health, Alice oversees the screening and identification of lead gene therapy clinical candidates for type 2 diabetes. Prior to this role, Alice worked as a Principal Scientist in Cell Biology and a Senior Scientist in Translational Sciences at Seres Therapeutics. Alice also has experience at Pfizer, studying obesity and eating disorders, and at Massachusetts General Hospital focusing on gut microbiota and energy homeostasis. Alice holds a PhD in Molecular, Cellular, and Integrative Physiology, a DVM, and a B.S. in Animal Science.
