Elmar Burke

Elmar Burke is an experienced technology professional with a strong background in software and product engineering. Currently serving as a Staff Product Engineer at Framer since May 2025, Elmar previously held the position of Staff Software Engineer at Bird from January 2019 to April 2025, where notable contributions included building the Inbox platform using React Hooks and GraphQL, and modernizing the legacy Dashboard. Prior to Bird, Elmar was the Lead Frontend Engineer at Blendle from January 2017 to December 2018, playing a key role in developing a Premium subscription model and enhancing user experience through React solutions. Earlier experience includes training and consulting on AngularJS at Symetics, internship work on data monitoring at Stadt Moers, and an apprenticeship in wholesale and foreign trade at Technik Center Alpen GmbH. Elmar holds a Bachelor of Science in E-Government from Hochschule Rhein-Waal and obtained Fachhochschulreife from Mercator Berufskolleg.
