Youen Leclerc

Youen Leclerc is a highly experienced Lighting Lead with a strong background in look development and lighting supervision across major film and visual effects studios. Currently at Framestore since January 2019, Youen has led lighting on projects such as "The Little Mermaid" (2023), utilizing tools like Maya and Framestore's proprietary software. Prior to this, Youen held the position of Senior Lighting TD at Industrial Light & Magic, contributing to "Aladdin" (2019). With expertise spanning over a decade, experience includes significant roles at MPC, Double Negative, and Cinesite on major titles like "The Jungle Book" and "John Carter." Youen holds a Master's degree in Computer Animation from ITECOM ART DESIGN (2006), showcasing a blend of artistic expertise and technical proficiency in physically plausible rendering.
