Matthew Adams has had an extensive career in the financial industry. Matthew began their career in 1994 as a FACS Operations Analyst at Fidelity Investments, where they worked until 1996. Matthew then joined Salomon Smith Barney as a Research Associate from 1996 to 1998. After that, they worked as an Equity Research Associate at Bear Stearns from 1998 to 2000. Following this, they joined Epoch Partners as a Research Analyst from 2000 to 2001. Matthew then worked as a Research Analyst at Robertson Stephens from 2001 to 2002. In 2005, they started working at Franklin Templeton Group as a Research Analyst and then became the Vice President/Portfolio Manager, where they served as the Industrials sector team leader and research analyst for aerospace/defense and transportation companies. Matthew also co-managed the Natural Resources fund, focusing on natural gas and oil E&P companies.

Matthew Adams attended the Roxbury Latin School from 1984 to 1990, where they obtained a Diploma in Classics. Matthew then pursued their undergraduate studies at Cornell University from 1990 to 1994, earning a Bachelor's degree in Economics. Afterward, they attended The University of Chicago Booth School of Business from 2003 to 2005, where they obtained an MBA with a focus on Accounting and Finance.
