Abeer Syal

Abeer Syal is an accomplished Orthopaedic Surgeon with extensive experience in clinical practice and education. Currently serving as the Head of the Department of Surgery at Langley Memorial Hospital and as the Division Head of Orthopaedic Surgery there, Abeer Syal is responsible for the effective delivery of clinical services and local physician resource planning. Abeer Syal has also been an Orthopaedic Surgeon at Dr. Abeer Syal Inc. | RegenMD since 2009 and holds a position as a Clinical Instructor at the University of British Columbia's Department of Orthopaedics. A longstanding commitment to education is demonstrated through previous roles as a Fellow and as an Orthopaedic Surgery Resident at leading institutions. Abeer Syal holds a medical degree from Western University and completed residency training at the University of Manitoba, further complementing a strong foundation in the field with a fellowship in Arthroscopic, Reconstructive Surgery, and Joint Preservation from UBC.
