Joaquin Suarez

Joaquin Suarez is a skilled communications professional currently serving as the Corporate Communications Coordinator for the Indigenous Cultural Safety Portfolio at Fraser Health Authority since January 2024. Previously, Joaquin held the role of President's Communications Assistant at Simon Fraser University from January to August 2023, supporting President Joy Johnson's initiatives. Other notable experiences include working as a Communications & Public Relations Assistant at Vancouver Aboriginal Child and Family Services Society and serving as a Junior Manager at Spin + Yin Cycle and Mindfulness Studio. Joaquin also contributed as a Communications & Marketing Coordinator for Giuseppe Football Club and was a national team player for the Philippine National Football Team U-16 during the AFF U-16 Championship.
