Ali al Masri

Ali Al Masri is an experienced professional in the field of agriculture and plant protection, currently serving as a Project Manager at Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft since April 2024. Previously, Ali held the position of Project Manager and Phytopathologist at Spatial Business Integration GmbH from February 2018 and also worked as an Agronomist. Ali's earlier experience includes a role in the Crop Protection-Hotline/Marketing at DuPont from March to June 2017, and serving as a Teaching Assistant at Damascus University from December 2008 to January 2011. Ali Al Masri earned a Doctorate in Agriculture from The University of Bonn, focusing on the application of proximal sensing techniques to investigate plant disease epidemiology. Additional academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Plant Diseases and Plant Protection from Leibniz Universität Hannover and a Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture from Damascus University.
