Eric Switzer

Eric Switzer is an experienced marketing and communications professional, currently serving as Associate Vice President of Marketing at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center since May 2023. Prior to this role, Eric was System Vice President of Marketing and Communications at PeaceHealth, overseeing the marketing efforts for a ten-hospital, three-state system from March 2020 to May 2023. From April 2007 to March 2020, Eric held multiple positions at OHSU, including Associate Vice President of Brand Strategy and Marketing, where a significant enterprise-wide rebranding initiative was led. Eric also has experience as Director of Communications at the OGI School of Science & Engineering and as Director of Development at the Sitka Center for Art & Ecology. Eric's early career included a role as Assistant Vice President at Cain & Company Fundraising. Educational attainments include an M.A. in British Literature from the University of Arizona and a B.A. in English from Manchester University.
