Sam Phillips is an experienced project manager specializing in genomics and sequencing projects. Currently serving as Project Manager II at Fred Hutch since May 2024, Sam previously held the role of Scientific Project Manager at C2i Genomics from May 2021 to June 2023, where contributions included establishing a sequencing production pipeline and managing assay validation experiments. At New York Genome Center from September 2018 to May 2021, Sam oversaw high throughput sequencing projects and collaborated internationally on various initiatives. Prior experiences at the University of Washington involved managing diverse sequencing projects and coordinating with principal investigators. Sam holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Carleton College and has utilized various lab techniques throughout the career.
