Steven Self

Steven Self is a distinguished academic and researcher in the field of biostatistics, currently serving as Professor Emeritus at the University of Washington School of Public Health since 1991 and as a member and Co-Director of the Vaccine and Infectious Disease Division at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center since 1989. Steven Self previously held the position of Assistant Professor of Biostatistics at Johns Hopkins University School of Hygiene and Public Health from 1981 to 1984. Steven Self earned a Ph.D. in Biomathematics from the University of Washington School of Public Health between 1977 and 1981 and a Master of Science in Biology/Genetics from California State University, Long Beach in 1977.
