Carlos Charris, MA, RP(Q), is an experienced mental health professional with a diverse background in therapy, case management, and education. Currently, Carlos serves as a therapist at Dr. Tenenbaum and Associates and Adler Graduate Professional School, providing psychodynamic therapy and conducting assessments for individuals affected by various issues, including stress and trauma. Additionally, Carlos works as a community support worker at Fred Victor Centre, assisting LGBTQ individuals and those facing homelessness, and has previously held multiple roles related to case management and mental health support at The Salvation Army, Across Boundaries, and Mennonite New Life Centre. Carlos holds a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Adler Graduate Professional School and a Bachelor's degree in Clinical and Applied Psychology from Universidad de La Sabana. Fred Victor is a social service charitable organization that fosters long-lasting and positive change in the lives of homeless and low-income people living across Toronto. Our many programs and services, located at 25+ different sites across Toronto, help people rebuild their lives by offering: Affordable housing in one of our three apartment buildings Emergency shelter in one of our two shelters Food access, such as hot meals at Friends Restaurant Job training and counselling Health information and community services through two “off-the-street” drop-ins Specialized support programs Our mission is to improve the health, income and housing stability of people experiencing poverty and homelessness.
