Simon Starr

Simon Starr is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in software development and management across various roles. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at FreeAgent since August 2017, Simon oversees the Connections & Add-ons team, successfully delivering integration projects for major banking clients. Previously, Simon held the position of CTO and Co-founder at Tabb, where responsibilities included app development and product management. Additional experience encompasses roles as a Director at Rockfield Systems and TCS Ventures, as well as positions involving technical consultancy and team leadership in various capacities. Simon is also known for organizing the Bath Ruby Conference and has contributed to the development of multiple applications and systems throughout a robust career in technology. Simon completed education at North Devon College and West Buckland School.
