Joey G. has extensive experience in the field of design and creative direction. Joey began their career as a Producer for Mint Male Magazine from 2008-2011. Following this, they worked as a Producer/Writer for The Qu from 2011-2014. In 2014, Joey took on the role of Graphic Designer for Contracted Design until 2015. Joey then worked as an Information Designer on a contract basis for dscout mobile research from 2015-2016. In 2013, Joey co-founded TransTech Social Enterprises and served as the Lead Designer, overseeing a team of junior apprentices and managing various in-house and client projects until 2016. From there, Joey joined Freeosk, Inc. as a Senior Art Director in 2016, where they collaborated with top CPG brands and national retailers on omnichannel programs. Lastly, in 2017, Joey joined PXM Fitness as a Creative Director/Brand Manager, responsible for strategizing business goals and creating branding assets. Joey also improved operations by implementing processes for faster and quality design requests, as well as training junior designers and managers.

Joey G. began their education in 2012 at City Colleges of Chicago-Harry S Truman College, where they pursued an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Communication, General, graduating in 2014. Subsequently, they attended Northeastern Illinois University from 2014 to 2016, where they completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Graphic Design, focusing on the field of Graphic Design.
