Ari Supomo currently serves as Process Automation Manager at Freeport-McMoRan since January 2013. Prior to this role, Ari worked at Aurecon from January 2009 to January 2013 as Project Control, focusing on project setup, planning, scheduling, cost control, and change management. At Aurecon, Ari also held the position of Process Improvement Specialist, identifying and implementing process improvements for processing plants. Earlier experience includes serving as Senior Adviser - Process Control at Rio Tinto from August 2006 to September 2008, where leadership in process improvement teams spanned coal, copper, gold, and uranium processing plants. Ari's career began at Freeport Indonesia from June 1998 to July 2006 as Advanced Process Control Superintendent, managing an APC team to enhance production through improved process control and monitoring systems. Ari holds a B.Sc in Engineering Science with a focus on Control Systems from Montana Technological University, graduated between 1993 and 1998.
