Lisa Schmidt

Lisa Schmidt is an experienced educator currently serving as a 1st and 4th Grade Teacher at Freeport School District 145 since July 2019. Prior to this role, Lisa worked as a Substitute Teacher at Regional Office 08 from January 2016 to May 2019. Lisa’s early career includes positions as an IT Specialist and Bookkeeper at Citizens State Bank, where responsibilities included updating standard operating procedures, creating training materials, and processing payroll. Lisa holds a Master’s degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Northern Illinois University, a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Science and Technology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and two Associate degrees from Highland Community College in Business Administration and General Studies.
