Faheem Memon

Faheem Memon has a diverse work experience in various roles related to software engineering and DevOps. Faheem is currently working as a Principal Engineer/Sr Manager SRE at FreeWheel since November 2022. From 2021 to 2022, they served as a Senior Manager DevOps at Amobee, where they led the development of the Amobee Wide Kubernetes platform and managed the Infrastructure Architect council. Prior to that, from 2018 to 2021, Faheem worked at BoxBoat Technologies as a Sr. Solutions Architect, where they implemented containerization and DevOps practices for clients in the energy and financial sectors. Earlier in their career, they held positions such as Solutions Architect/Technical Manager at NuAxis Innovations, Senior Development Lead at NuAxis Innovations, Sr. Software Engineer/Development Lead at Datafocal Systems, and Software Engineer at Pakistan Software Solutions. In these roles, they led teams, developed custom software solutions, and designed and developed web-based products using various technologies.

Faheem Memon earned their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer and Information Technology from the University of Sindh, which they attended from 2000 to 2004. Faheem further pursued their education and completed a Masters degree in Information Technology from the Virtual University of Pakistan, from 2007 to 2009.

In addition to their formal education, Faheem Memon has obtained several certifications in various fields. Some of these certifications include being a Program Committee Member for Kubernetes Community Days in 2022 and 2023, earning the VMware Certified Master Specialist - Cloud Native certification in 2020, and becoming a Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) in December 2019. Faheem has also obtained certifications from Microsoft, Docker, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Project Management Institute (PMI), among others.
