Abeer Mishal

Abeer Mishal is a dedicated educator with extensive experience in teaching social sciences. Currently serving as a Social Science Teacher at Fremont Unified School District since June 2021, Abeer previously held the same position at Sacramento Charter High School from August 2018 to July 2020. Abeer also worked as a North American Cultural Ambassador for the Ministerio de Educación, Cultura y Deporte in Spain, facilitating English dialogue and cultural exchanges for bilingual education classes. In addition to teaching roles, Abeer contributed to increasing college access for underserved students as an AmeriCorps VISTA at Port Richmond Partnership Leadership Academy. Abeer has a Bachelor of Arts in History and Spanish from Wagner College and a Single Subject Teaching Credential from Loyola Marymount University, complemented by a study abroad experience at Universidad de Belgrano focused on advanced Spanish grammar.
