Nelson MacChi

Nelson Macchi is the Head of Transaction Banking at Solaris SE, overseeing cards, payments, and securities brokerage since October 2022. Previously, Nelson held roles as Managing Director and Head of Operations in Digital Assets, focusing on BaFin regulated crypto custody and brokerage. As a founding team member at Finoa from March 2018 to September 2022, Nelson contributed to building the company from its inception. Nelson also served as an Investment Associate at Fundie Ventures and possesses an MBA from IE Business School. Additional experience includes a tenure as a Senior Strategy Consultant at Accenture and co-founding Syntarqui, a company specializing in high-precision metal fabrics for architecture. Educational credentials include advanced degrees in Economics and business from various institutions, including Virginia Tech and Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. Nelson currently invests in growth-stage company FrescoFrigo and pre-seed company Ilios Therapeutics in the biotech sector.
